Love Note Necklace (First Edition)

In purchasing a piece from our First Edition, you understand and agree with the following:

1. Quality Assurance: While Otelier First Edition is a soft launch to test our production processes, we guarantee that the quality of each piece will meet the same high standards we’ve spent two years perfecting.
2. Approval Process: Proofs will be sent for all jewellery orders that require clarification or adjustments. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the proof within 7 days. Failure to do so will result in automatic approval, and any changes thereafter will incur additional costs.
3. Timeframe & Delivery: While we aim for a 6-8 week turnaround and strive to have pieces ready for Christmas, delays may occur as we fine-tune our processes. Please note that production will only begin after proof approval.
   Orders placed after the 1st November will be delivered late January.
4. Refund Policy: In the rare case that we cannot produce your jewellery due to design limitations, you will receive a full refund.
5. Feedback: As part of Otelier First Edition, your feedback is invaluable in helping us perfect our collection before the official launch.

• Pendant Height: 10mm (measurements are approximations only and vary depending on handwriting style. Width is dependent on number of letters) 
• Pendant Thickness: 1.3mm
• Chain style & length: 1.1mm Cable Chain OR Diamond Curb | 45cm
• Finish: Polished

Note: Our handwritten pendant is designed to be fixed to the necklace. Multiple words may need to be stacked where required to ensure the handwriting sits nicely as a pendant. After our team has finished turning the handwriting into a 3D design, you will receive an email to approve before we begin fabrication. 

Step 1 |  The Handwriting
Before ordering your jewellery, we recommend that you message us on Instagram or send us an email with a photo of the handwriting to see if it is suitable to use. If you are writing something specifically for an order, we recommend using a black or blue marker/ink pen and plain white paper.

Step 2 |  Take a photo
No fancy cameras needed! Use your phone to take a clear photo of the handwriting. See our FAQ on how to capture the best photo.

Step 3 |  Place your order
Select a product, upload your photo, and checkout! If you don't have the photo just yet, you can email it to us later.

Step 4 |  Initial design and approval
Within 1-2 weeks of your order, our team of designers will convert your 2D drawing into a 3D printable file. You have the option to receive an email proof of your design for approval before we move into production. Note: the time taken to review and approve the proof will impact when production begins.

Step 5 |  Production
Your handwriting will be 3D printed in wax, then cast in silver or solid gold. Our Sydney jewellers will hand finish your piece, polishing it to perfection and securing the pendant to its chain. Please keep in mind the production time for this piece is around 4-6 weeks.*

Step 6 |  Final details
After a final quality inspection, your jewellery will be carefully wrapped with love inside our signature Otelier box alongside the original handwriting. We’ll send you tracking details so that you can watch it make its journey to its forever home. 

Our jewellery is made-to-order in our Sydney studio and can take 6-8 weeks to be created.

Within 1-2 weeks of your order, our team of designers will convert your 2D drawing into a 3D printable file. If a proof is requested, fabrication will not commence until your approval is received by email. The length of time taken by you to approve the design may affect the overall processing time.

FREE Express Shipping with tracking is included for all jewellery orders Australia wide.

All orders are dispatched from Sydney, New South Wales. Refer to the Australia Post delivery calculator for shipping estimates. Shipping times are not included in the production time. We only send to Australian residential addresses. Signature is required on delivery.

Our jewellery is completely customised for you and unfortunately ineligible for exchange, refund or store credit. We do not accept exchanges or returns simply because you have changed your mind. Please consider this prior to placing your order.

Your jewellery will be carefully wrapped in our signature Otelier box, complete with our custom microfibre travel pouch– perfect for both storing and cleaning your treasured pieces.

We want your Otelier jewellery to last forever. It is important to treat your pieces with love and care. We suggest removing your pieces before sleeping, swimming, or engaging in any sporting activities.
