Every card from my grandmother was signed with 'Baccioni'– little kisses that carried her affection. During the first lockdown, while nesting for what felt like the hundredth time, I stumbled upon one of these cards addressed to my daughter. As I traced her unique penmanship with my fingers, it felt as though she was right there beside me. Each curve and dot in her handwriting was a piece of her– a tangible reminder of her warm hugs, her sweet scent, and that radiant smile.

In that moment, the card became one of the most precious things I had left of her, making her presence feel so real. It was a poignant reminder of how monumental memories become when they are all we have left of someone special. This heartfelt experience inspired me to create my first handwritten keepsake, a tribute to her memory and to the memories of loved ones everywhere. Thus, in late 2020, our first business, Little Ideas Project, was born.

As our small business evolved, so did our desire to expand into jewellery– a medium uniquely capable of capturing and reflecting profound moments. Its intimate nature, worn close and inviting touch, has a remarkable ability to evoke deep nostalgia and reconnect us with cherished memories. Four years later, we rebranded as Otelier, symbolising the perfect blend of exquisite craftsmanship and a tribute to the moments that matter most.
