We know you’re excited to receive your Otelier pieces, and we take great care in handcrafting each item before shipping it from our studio in Sydney. Orders are dispatched on business days. Once your parcel has been collected by Australia Post, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email.
All jewellery orders receive FREE Express Shipping Australia wide, and require a signature upon delivery.
General Shipping Information
Can address changes be made to my order?
Not always but we will try. It will depend on whether your order has already been shipped. Please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Please ensure that your address details are correct when making your order. If we are unable to deliver your parcel due to an incorrect delivery address and the parcel is returned to us, an additional postage fee will apply to re-send your parcel.

Average domestic delivery times:
- Standard Post: 3-9 Business Days
- Express Post: 1-5 Business Day
*Times vary for rural locations. Please allow for delays due to extreme weather conditions.
Shipping time begins once the item is dispatched, not the date that the item is ordered. If you need something rushed, please contact us first so we can try and accomodate your order. Choosing Express Post will not speed up the packing time.
Local Pickup available from Smithfield, New South Wales only.
International Orders
Our website charges in Australian dollars. The actual price charged to International customers will be subject to the exchange rate of your local currency applied by the credit or debit card company. Your financial services provider may charge currency conversion and administration fees on purchases and any refunds we provide.
All International orders are sent with Australia Post and exclude customs and tax charges. To get an idea of how long your delivery will take please use the Australia Post delivery calculator
Customs Duties/Importing Taxes
Please be aware that your parcel may incur customs duties and/or importing taxes upon arrival into your country. Please know that these charges are out of our control and we will not reimburse any of these GST, charges, duties or fees.
Please check with your local authorities to confirm what customs duties and fees that you are likely to incur before purchasing to avoid any surprises.
Shipping Delays

Domestic and International shipping is currently slower than normal. We appreciate your patience in these circumstances, as shipping delays are out of our control. Please allow 3-9 business days for domestic delivery and 10-40 business days for international delivery.
Although we will do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered on time, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of delay caused by our carrier which is out of our reasonable control. We will also not be responsible for any delay, loss or returned parcels caused by an incorrect delivery address provided, or issues relating to delivery access.
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Otelier is not responsible for parcels that are lost or delayed in transit due to the fault of Australia Post or any other courier - we will trace your parcel on your behalf and work with you to provide as much information as we can if you decide to lodge an investigation with Australia Post. WE DO NOT take responsibility for what happens to your item once it is shipped.
Otelier is not liable for any costs associated with parcels being returned to sender due to being unclaimed or not delivered, or where a customer has incorrectly entered the address during checkout. Otelier is not responsible for any parcels that are damaged, lost, stolen or delayed during transit. Please note we do not hold or delay parcel post at customer request.
If your piece arrives damaged due to shipping, please take a photo of the damage, including the outer and inner packaging, and immediately contact us.

Processing Times
Within 1-2 weeks of placing your order, our team of designers will convert your 2D drawing into a 3D printable file. If a proof is requested, fabrication will not commence until your approval is received by email. The lead time to make your custom jewellery from approval is as follows:
- Sterling Silver: 6-8 weeks (shipping time not included)
- Solid 9ct Gold: 6-8 weeks (shipping time not included)
**Please be sure to note if your item is a pre-order or special edition item, as these items have specific processing times. These timeframes will be advised within the product description (for pre-order) or via email (for special editions).**
If you require a piece urgently or by a specific date, email us before placing your order to avoid any disappointment. We will always do our best to get your piece to you in time, however, this is not always guaranteed. Rush fees may apply.
Packaging
Your jewellery will be carefully wrapped in our signature Otelier packaging, complete with our custom microfibre travel pouch– perfect for both storing and cleaning your treasured pieces.
How is my order shipped?
FREE Express Shipping with tracking is included for all jewellery orders Australia wide.
All orders are dispatched from Sydney, New South Wales. Refer to the Australia Post delivery calculator for shipping estimates. Shipping times are NOT included in the production time.
We only send to Australian residential addresses. Signature is required on delivery.
Due to the value of our pieces, we select Signature on Delivery for all parcels. If no one is home it will be taken to your local Post Office or parcel centre for collection with Photo ID. Please note any Otelier packages that have been scanned as delivered cannot be refunded or remade. We will do our best to work with you if there is damage / lost packages, but we DO NOT take responsibility for what happens to your item once it is shipped.

Framed Keepsakes
Processing Times
We do our best to get your keepsakes made quickly. However, each item is handmade and has an estimated processing time of 3-4 weeks from payment being received.
Please note, this may be affected by the length of time taken by you to approve the proof of your custom order.

Packaging
Our Framed Keepsakes are thoughtfully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
Each piece is carefully wrapped in recyclable hex wrap and kraft paper, providing excellent protection during transit. To further safeguard your keepsake, we place it inside a custom-made cardboard box, designed specifically to fit and protect your framed treasure. We take pride in our sustainable packaging choices, ensuring both your keepsake and the environment are well cared for.

We offer two convenient shipping options through Australia Post:

- Standard Shipping
All parcels are sent with tracking, so you can keep an eye on your delivery. Once your parcel has been lodged, you'll receive an email with your tracking details, ensuring you’re always in the loop on your order’s journey.
